Found Japanese version of “Where’s Waldo?” 🤓

The other “viby” summer day I went to Toko-ji temple with my kid which is on outskirts of Nishinomya city where I live at the moment. Was pleasantly surprised. Though I saw quite many Japanese temples in my life that one was quite unique in terms of tourist entertainment.

Exhibit #1 (at the entrance): A detailed panorama of the city.

Exhibit #2: Chouromon
The Below the Churoumon Gate is the Stairway to Ward Off Evil for Women-Onnayakuzaka.
The number of steps in the stairway corresponds with the age of women experiencing an inauspicious year. Climbing the appropriate stairway one step at a time will ward off evil spirits and protect one from misfortune.

Apparently is popular among women.
Exhibit #3: A Tanuki family garden

Exhibit #4: Mix of diffident Japanese dolls (right in front of the “Waldo” picture)

Exhibit #5: Koinabori (quite late though, still kept it)

Exhibit #6: Gashapon for lucky charms

Exhibit #7: Motivational poster

Exhibit #8: Praying spots

Exhibit #9: sacred (some sacrite tree log?)

Exhibit #10: Snake poster (for taking pictures)

Exhibit #11: Kigan Kaeru. The Frog of Good Fortune.
